The purpose of the parade is to give local residents and
visitors an opportunity to celebrate Mardi Gras Goodland-style...on the
water. We have two goals. The first is to have fun. The second is to raise
money to benefit Avow Hospice. Extravagance is NOT required and boats
of all sizes and shapes are welcome.
Last Year's Parade raised over $12,000 for Avow Hospice.
This year's theme is "Advertising". Pick any idea that relates to products,
their slogans, jingles or commercials or the celebrities, sports figures or cartoon characters that endorse them and decorate your crew and boat
to depict it.
