The purpose of the parade is to give local residents and visitors an opportunity to celebrate Mardi Gras Goodland-style...on the water. We have two goals. The first is to have fun. The second is to raise money to benefit Avow Hospice. Extravagance is NOT required and boats of all sizes and shapes are welcome.

Last Year's Parade raised over $18,000 for Avow Hospice.

This year's theme is "The World of Dance".  Pick any idea that relates popular dances from the past and present or folk dances in the US and around the world--anything from the Bristol Stomp to the Moulin Rouge Can Can--and decorate your crew and boat to depict it..
